Your ongoing rental agreement with inRent

Your ongoing rental agreement with inRent: not impacted by the closure of Radio Rentals (S.A), R.T Edwards (QLD) or Gedd!t (NSW) stores.

As you may be aware, Radio Rentals Ltd has announced that it will close all of its retail stores in South Australia (Radio Rentals), Queensland (R.T. Edwards), and New South Wales (Gedd!t) over the next two months.

We write to confirm that your rental agreement is not affected in any way. While your rental originated in a Radio Rentals, R.T Edwards or a gedd!t store, the agreement is with inRent. inRent is the provider of consumer rental agreements for various retailers, including Radio Rentals, R.T. Edwards and Gedd!t. inRent is owned by a separate entity and is unaffected by the closure of the retail stores. The inRent business will continue to operate independently of the retail stores.

There will be no impact on your existing rental agreement(s). You will continue to receive the benefits of renting with inRent, including upgrades and ongoing product servicing, and your obligations under your agreement are ongoing.

If you normally pay your account in a Radio Rentals, R.T Edwards or gedd!t store, you will need to transfer to one of the following payment alternatives before these stores close:

  1. Direct Debit – either phone 1800 199 285 or visit and complete a form. You can choose either fortnightly or monthly debits. Alternatively, you can send an email to
  2. BPAY (Rental Accounts) – Biller code: 747204, Ref: your Rental Account Number
  3. BPAY (Interest Free Accounts) – Biller code: 716837, Ref: your Interest Free Account Number
  4. Credit Card – phone 1800 199 285 or visit or if you would prefer, phone 1300 366 824 for auto pay
  5. Bank Transfer – BSB 065 000 Account Number 10733786, and include your Rental Account Number in the reference field
  6. Send a cheque or money order with your Rental Account Number written on the back to: inRent PO Box 87 Prospect SA 5082
  7. Australia Post,  Post Billpay* - Visit your local Australia Post outlet to pay your account via Cash, Credit card or EFTPOS. The Postbillpay Barcode is on your monthly statement.
