| If you are renting for business purposes your rental payments may be tax deductible. To be sure that you are entitled to any deduction, we recommend you consult a qualified accountant or tax advisor for advice first. |
| How can I apply for a new rental? |
| Applying for your new rental is easy with inRent! You can apply at your local inRent dealer or by calling freecall 1800 807 621. You can also apply for a rental limit, as the first step to entering into a rental agreement, via this website. It�s as easy as that! |
| How can I pay my account? |
| You can choose to pay your account via BPay, Australia Post (with your monthly bill), cheque and money order, credit card by phone, direct debit or online at www.optussmartpay.com/inrent/credit.jsp |
| How do I apply for Direct Debit? |
To apply for Direct Debit makes your rental repayments easy.
Simply download your Request Form from the Pay Account link on the inRent homepage. Then fill out your details, remember to sign the bottom, and mail it to : inRent Customer Assistance, PO Box 87, Prospect SA, 5082 for us to review and process.

| Is the contract rent to buy? |
| NO, it is a rental agreement. You may make an offer to purchase the rented equipment at any time during your agreement and that offer can be accepted or rejected at the discretion of inRent. |
| What are my options at the end of my rental contract? |
At the end of your agreement, provided your account is up to date you will have several options listed below:
a) Hand back the goods with no obligation
b) Continue to rent the goods
c) Upgrade the goods to a newer model (subject to approval)
d) Make an offer to purchase the goods (acceptance is at the discretion of inRent) |
| What contract terms are available? |
| inRent provides a flexible range of rental terms with most products available on 12 months (1 year), 24 months (2 years), 36 months (3 years), 48 months (4 years) and 60 month (5 year) contract terms, depending on the product type you rent. For more information please freecall 1800 807 621. |
| What information do I need to apply for a new rental contract? |
| To apply for a new rental agreement with inRent you must be over 18 years of age, an Australian resident and be able to supply appropriate identification showing your current address at any registered inRent dealer store. You will need supply 2 x forms of ID (or a valid drivers licence with your current address), 2 x addresses (past & present), 2 x years of employment records and 2 x friends or relatives (as reference). |
| What is Debt Waiver? |
| Debt waiver is an optional add-on feature (at an additional cost) of inRent which provides you peace of mind and protection if the goods you are renting are stolen from your home with visible signs of forced entry or destroyed by fire. If the terms and conditions of a Debt Waiver claim are met and the claim is approved, the debt and the value of the goods is forgiven and no further payments are required. | What is the Minimum Term Before Upgrade? |
| The Minimum Term Before Upgrade is the minimum amount of time you must rent a specific product before you can upgrade it without incurring penalties. The Minimum Term Before Upgrade for each item you rent can be viewed on your Rental Agreement. Please see instore for full terms & conditions. |
